Working with the Youth of Tasmania

We have been actively searching for an appropriate event to sponsor which targets the development of our youth, with a specific focus on health and well-being.

Having been involved with Variety Tasmania in the past, which does some fantastic work raising money to provide services, medical help and equipment to improve the quality of life of special children in Tasmania, we wanted to continue to work within this area.

After a few meetings with the event organiser Tim Smith, it became clear that the Tasmanian Schools Triathlon Challenge was a perfect example of promoting active and healthy lifestyle choices to the youth of Tasmania.

In quoting the event’s philosophy “Participation is at the foundation of this event and students will be encouraged to be involved regardless of current fitness level, ability, previous experience or preferred sport. Students will come to appreciate the sense of achievement that comes with the challenge of completing a Triathlon.”

We feel this is an extremely important message, and we are very proud to help assist Tim in promoting this.
